About

Building brands from the inside out.

I’m a brand, marketing and creative leader who has spent my career helping organizations find the clearest, most compelling way to express who they are and why they matter.

I began as a hands-on designer and grew into a creative director, brand strategist and team leader, but I’ve never lost my connection to the craft. That foundation still shapes how I lead today. I believe the strongest creative work starts with a great idea, is grounded in strategy and comes to life through thoughtful design, storytelling and experiences that connect with people.

Most recently, I served as Senior Creative Director, Brand & Creative at the National Geographic Society, helping steward one of the world’s most iconic brands. My work spanned enterprise brand strategy and governance, integrated campaigns, naming and brand architecture, signature events and new brand experiences, including the Museum of Exploration, retail, hospitality and other physical and digital expressions of the National Geographic brand.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work across sports, media, nonprofit, luxury real estate, retail, hospitality and consumer brands. The industries have changed, but the work has followed a consistent path: understanding what makes a brand distinctive, building the systems and ideas that bring it to life and leading talented people in creating work that moves both audiences and organizations forward.

That journey has included leading creative for the Arizona Diamondbacks, directing brand and marketing for Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty and developing identities, campaigns, products, retail experiences, environmental graphics and brand systems for organizations ranging from National Geographic and NASCAR to food, hospitality and consumer brands.

I’m equally comfortable in a strategy session with senior leadership, presenting a creative vision to stakeholders or sitting with a design team working through the details of an idea. I’ve always believed that creative leadership works best when strategy and craft remain connected.

At the heart of it, I’m still a creative person—curious about brands, people, culture and what makes an idea resonate. I enjoy building teams, solving complicated brand problems and turning ambitious ideas into experiences people can see, feel and remember.
